Even though the layout of this kitchen's work
triangle didn't change, and we added a four by six-foot island to the
center of the room, the homeowners claim that this room feels bigger
now than it did before the remodel. The Viking range is the focal point
of the new kitchen, so we complemented that stainless steel with a
variety of other rich and subtle finish materials including American
Cherry wood, 'Dakota Mahogany' granite and black leather. The windows
and doors behind the table and chairs (far right) lead to a new
screened porch.
