We improved this 1940s kitchen’s
floor plan, and enlarged it to accommodate a built-in window seat and
table, a wet bar, more storage, and a door to the new wrap-around
porch. Materials include birch raised panel cabinetry and floors, slate
and Corian® countertops, antique copper faucets and a lively
Mexican tile backsplash. We also designed a large pantry wall featuring
antique doors found at an architectural salvage yard.
