The foyer sets the tone of the home's new look
with its modern interpretation of Arts and Crafts styling. One of the
owners' strong objections to the home's original look was the 'builders
oak' flooring, millwork and raised panel cabinetry throughout the
house, so we replaced it all with solid select-grade American Cherry,
and elegant, flush miter at the beam intersections. Through the doorway
on the far right we catch a glimpse of the new kitchen, and beyond
that, the new screened porch.
